The Haunt Asbury Park reviews
What a disappointing show!
This show, overall, was a waste of $118 and terrible. Annoyingly, the show started an hour late. The opening comedian, meant to warm up the crowd, had a few funny jokes, but mostly engaged in banter with hecklers. Gary Owens was initially funny, but by the middle of his set, I found myself yawning. The Haunt, anticipated for good comedy, delivered a subpar performance. He mostly talked instead of telling jokes, forgetting it was a comedy show. The boredom led many to leave early. I was disappointed by The Haunt's underwhelming performance, given the high expectations and the significant cost of attending.
